Oracle Database Error Code ORA-29760 Description :
instance_number parameter not specified
Error Cause:
The init.ora file did not contain a value for the instance_number which is required to identify this instance to other instances of the database running on the same cluster

How to Solve :
Assign a value to the instance_number parameter in the init.ora parameter file
