Oracle database error code ORA-25953 – join index cannot be a functional index

Oracle Database Error Code ORA-25953 Description :
join index cannot be a functional index
Error Cause:
An attempt to create a join index was made, which failed because a functional index was requested or necessary (such as is the case for indexing columns using timezone).

How to Solve :
Remove any functional indexing columns.
