Oracle database error code ORA-15120 – ASM file name string does not begin with the ASM prefix character

Oracle Database Error Code ORA-15120 Description :
ASM file name string does not begin with the ASM prefix character
Error Cause:
A file name was specified to ASM which did not begin with the ASM prefix character (currently +). ASM uses the prefix to determine that a file specification is in fact an ASM file.

How to Solve :
Correct the file name specification.
