Oracle database error code ORA-14616 – table is not subpartitioned by List method

Oracle Database Error Code ORA-14616 Description :
table is not subpartitioned by List method
Error Cause:
A subpartition maintenance operation such as ALTER TABLE MODIFY SUBPARTITION ADD|DROP VALUES or ALTER TABLE DROP|SPLIT|MERGE SUBPARTITION can only be performed on List subpartitioned objects

How to Solve :
Re-issue the command against a List subpartitoned object.
