Oracle database error code ORA-03131 – an invalid buffer was provided for the next piece

Oracle Database Error Code ORA-3131 Description :
an invalid buffer was provided for the next piece
Error Cause:
The application either provided the length of the buffer for the next piece to be zero or provided a null pointer.

How to Solve :
Verify if the buffer pointer for the next piece is null or if the length is zero.
